An Alaska Air National Guard pararescueman assigned to the 212th Rescue Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard, prepares to conduct a static line jump over water near Homer, Alaska, June 25, 2020. The drop was conducted to maintain qualifications for the Guard’s pararescuemen and loadmasters. The 212th and 211th rescue squadrons continuously train to maintain operational readiness for civil search and rescue missions as well as contingency operations.
