Army National Guard Spc. Zach Wooster, a horizontal construction engineer with the 176th Engineer Brigade's 386th Sapper Company, helping a team of National Guardsmen provide COVID-19 testing for Texans in Taylor, Texas, July 9, 2020.
Spc. Wooster relates National Guard service to his civilian career as a locksmith: both keep him on his feet and require him to remain flexible and show initiative.
"It's a new job every time you go out to any kind of request," Wooster said. "You have to be ready for anything. Most of the time someone needs to get, go somewhere or get a door open or get their car going on. They're depending on you so you have to make do with what you have."
