PORTSMOUTH, Va. (July 6, 2020) – Debra Scott, a galley staff member at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP), verifies patient meals trays are correct before being delivered to patients July 6. NMCP is implementing a new system for heating, cooling and distributing meals which involves the use of heat and chill carts that will be used to ensure that patient meals are high-quality and consistent.
