U.S. Army North hosts mission partners during the 2020 ARNORTH Hurricane Rehearsal of Concept Drill, held at Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston both in-person and virtually, July 9. The event included more than 250 leaders from federal, state, U.S. territories and the military, to discuss their respective courses of action in the event of a hurricane response. The Rehearsal of Concept drill was organized by U.S. Army North, the Army component of U.S. Northern Command, as part of its mission to support civil authorities during disasters as well as synchronize active duty military support efforts with federal, state, territorial and local partners to ensure seamless support in a hurricane response event.
