Extending a helping hand in friendship, back in the day...organizational efforts by Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Shawn Aragon for Naval Hospital Bremerton Diversity Committee led to the command's initial recognition of June as Pride Month in 2016 with a host of celebrations. From the opening ceremony to Zumba command master chief physical training to cupcake handouts to Rainbow Fun Run to Symposium to closing ceremony, Aragon coordinated the overlapping events focusing on the principle(s) of equality, dignity and respect for all (Official Navy photo).
