Secretary of Defense Mark Esper talks with Col. William Freeman, 352d Special Operations Wing commander, and other wing leaders during a visit to Royal Air Force Mildenhall, June 25, 2020. The purpose of his visit was threefold: familiarization with the CV-22B Osprey platform, discuss COVID-19 response, and have a sit-down discussion with airmen on discrimination, racism and prejudice in the Air Force and the workplace. Secretary Esper engaged with air commandos who support and enable the AFSOC and SOCEUR objectives for readiness and strategic relationships in the European theater.
