ANNAPOLIS, Md. (June 26, 2020) U.S. Naval Academy staff prepare Alumni Hall for the induction of the Class of 2024. Approximately 1,200 plebes will be inducted in groups of approximately 300 over a four-day period beginning June 28, due to restrictions set forth by the COVID-19 pandemic. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
