An IV is attached to a Soldier role-playing as a casualty during the Connecticut National Guard's 141st Medical Company and 1-169th Aviation Battalion's joint MEDEVAC training event at the Army National Guard Aviation Support Facility in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, June 22nd. During this training exercise, the medics would treat simulated casualties at nearby Camp Hartell, call up a nine-line MEDEVAC request, then transport the casualty to the AASF where a UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter would be waiting to extract the patient.
