200620-N-DL524-1094 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 20, 2020) Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Mercedes Solorzano, from Chicago, performs a 24-hour pre-flight turnaround inspection on an MH-60R Sea Hawk, attached to the Saberhawks of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77, in the hangar bay of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, as well as the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
