The Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Ramón Colón-López (center), Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Russell Smith (right), and MyNavy HR Fleet Master Chief Wes Koshoffer (left) visit an off-base facility used for a restriction of moment (ROM) for recruits prior to entering boot camp. Recruit Training Command is conducting the initial 14-day ROM in an off-site facility, which provides rooms with a small number of recruits, reducing the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus amongst them should any individual be infected.
