CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti June 7, 2020 - U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Lapthe C. Flora, incoming commanding general for Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), meets with service members at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) on June 7, 2020. Flora took command of CJTF-HOA June 8 during a change of command ceremony officiated by U.S. Army Gen. Stephen J. Townsend, commander, U.S. Africa Command. CJTF-HOA protects American interests and, in conjunction with coalition partners, helps foster a safe, secure and prosperous East Africa.
