200507-N-KO930-1087 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 7, 2020) An F/A-18C Hornet, from the "Death Rattlers" of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323 assigned to Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG), lands on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
