1st Squadron 7th Cavalry Regiment “GARRYOWEN,” 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team “IRONHORSE” hosted a rededication ceremony for the 4th Infantry Division memorial on Fort Hood. The memorial was first erected in 2004 by an Iraqi sculptor and shipped to Fort Hood to honor the Ivy Division’s fallen men and women. GARRYOWEN adopted the memorial, which was last rededicated in 2009 before the Ivy Division left Fort Hood for Fort Carson, Colorado.
