200516-N-OW019-0117 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 16, 2020) Chief Information Systems Technician Joshua Caldera, from Murrieta, Calif., assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), simulates a fire with white smoke during a general quarters drill during a composite traning unit exercise (COMPTUEX) as part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (GSC). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing its ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
