(May 12, 2020) Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Jacob Fuentes, a native of San Antonio, stationed aboard Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), takes a Sailor’s temperature on the pier at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). Touchless temperature checks are part of a health screening assessment conducted before personnel enter PSNS & IMF as a daily preventative measure against COVID-19.
