    U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jesse Williams, 21st Airlift Squadron flight chief of standardization and evaluation, guides a medical recovery vehicle to the cargo door of a C-17 Globemaster III May 7, 2020, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Aeromedical evacuation and aircrew team members took part in a training event focused on the reception and care of a simulated COVID-19 patient utilizing the Transport Isolation System capsule. Travis AFB maintains a TIS loaded C-17 on alert status with to ensure the aircraft is ready to launch at a moment’s notice.
