Aeromedical evacuation and aircrew team members took part in a training event focused on the reception and care of a simulated COVID-19 patient utilizing the Transport Isolation System capsule. Travis AFB maintains a TIS loaded C-17 on alert status with to ensure the aircraft is ready to launch at a moment’s notice.
