A C-17 Globemaster III sits on the flight line May 7, 2020, at Travis Air Force Base, California. The C-17, C-130H Hercules and C-130J Super Hercules are the only aircraft capable of carrying Transport Isolation System capsules, which the DOD initially engineered in response to the Ebola virus in 2014. The capsules allow the transport of individuals with highly contagious diseases without infecting any other passengers or aircrew on the aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Heide Couch)
