The 531st HC, Fort Campbell, KY, and 261st MMB, Fort Bragg, NC, are direct reporting units to the 44th Medical Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, NC. The 9th HC is a direct reporting unit to the 1st Medical Brigade, III Corps, Fort Hood, TX. Lieut. Col. Kelly, who also serves as the consultant to the Army Surgeon General for 61H (Family Medicine Physician) met with the 61Hs who served in the Javits New York Medical Station to learn about their experience and how their training and skills were utilized for the mission to take care of patients with COVID, in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
