A member of the Connecticut Army National Guard reviews discharge procedures at Stamford Hospital-Bennett Medical Center, Stamford, Conn., April 29, 2020. The National Guard is working with members from the Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 811-1, Expeditionary Medical Facility-M, and hospital staff to aid in the efforts to increase the care capacity and treatment ability of COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients, alleviating civilian providers from having to manage lower priority patients. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
