LOVELAND, Colo. (April 30, 2020) Officials from FEMA, The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) tour the Alternate Care Site in Loveland, Colorado. To address the state of Colorado’s request for additional hospital bed space for anticipated COVID-19 patients, FEMA directed USACE to build out a temporary facility for up to 195 beds at The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.
