Airman 1st Class Madison Henry, an emergency actions controller assigned to the 628th Air Base Wing Command Post, sends out an AtHoc warning-system alert to the Naval Weapons Station over the Navy’s communications server at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., April 20, 2020. The system alerts personnel across user devices such as computer notifications, emails, phone and text messages based on contact information entered by the users. Henry also notified other emergency response agencies during the alert notification.
