Soldiers from Alpha Company, 334th Brigade Support Battalion, Iowa Army National Guard, make calls and input data on equipment provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health as part of the department’s efforts to determine the extent of COVID-19 exposure from Iowans who recently tested positive for the virus. The Iowa National Guard is providing approximately 150 Soldiers and Airmen to support IDPH call centers at various National Guard facilities across the state. IDPH is the lead agency in this effort. All information collected is voluntarily provided by the public and maintained on IDPH data systems.
