U.S. Marines with the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, asses the blast damage during an energetic tools range at Morón Air Base, Spain, April 28, 2020. The range provided the opportunity to conduct routine pre-combat checks that included gear preparation, inert improvised explosive device construction, and explosive ordnance disposal operations. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
