200423-N-EO124-2898 IWAKUNI, Japan (April 23, 2020) Chief Steelworker David Brown and Utilitiesman 1st Class Andre Walters, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, Detail Iwakuni, conduct a pre-inspection of a completed environmental trash enclosure with Lt. j.g. Matthew Breuer, Iwakuni Facility Engineering Acquisition Division’s construction manager. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
