East Rutherford, NJ, April 20, 2020--A briefing was held with newly arrived National Ambulance Contract (FEMA) personnel along with New Jersey EMS, local agency representatives and AMR Inc., as another wave of ambulances arrived to support local hospitals and relieve some of the units from the first wave. Crews were welcomed and thanked for their tremendous sacrifices to be here and local agencies prepped them and provided a synopsis of current conditions on the ground. A moment of silence was held for all NJ First Responders who have lost their lives due to COVID-19. There are currently 97 BLS and 81 ALS units with over 600 Responders assigned to New Jersey. K.C.
