Senator Tammy Duckworth speaks with Dr. Nick Turkel, MD executive director, about the negative pressure tent’s cabalities capabilities to treat COVID19 patients following a press conference about the COVID19 Alternate Care Facility at McCormick Place on April 17. Upon completion, McCormick Place will have a total of 3000 patient rooms available. The Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, in support of the White House, Department of Defense, FEMA, and state and local authorities, has been working around the clock in order to create four ACFs to help slow the spread of the pandemic.
