Commanding General of U.S. Army North, Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson, dons personal protective equipment before touring units at Baton Rouge General Mid City campus manned by Expeditionary Medical Facility-M Sailors April 19, 2020. The EMF-M personnel, who have been deployed to support the Defense Support of Civil Authorities, have been working to ease the strain of the significant patient care surge as part of the Baton Rouge General Mid City family. Department of Defense is providing the Federal Emergency Management Agency with mission-enhancing support to increase their ability to protect people and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
