The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron “Thunderbirds” fly over Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. to show appreciation to the thousands of nurses, doctors, firefighters, and others who are at the front line of battling COVID-19 after the U.S. Air Force Academy’s commencement flyover April 18, 2020. Our mission tasks and operations have been prioritized. Even in performing this city flyover salute, we’re doing so with continuous tanker support to safely and smartly produce the mission while adjusting to this new way of doing business.
