200418-N-QV265-1074 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 18, 2020) - Sailors aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) simulate extinguishing a class alpha fire during a general quarters training evolution. General quarters training allows Sailors to prepare themselves in the event of actual casualties. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
