Airman 1st Class Korey King, a load master with the 40th Airlift Squadron, performs a pre-flight checklist prior to Launch the Fleet, July 2, 2012, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Launch the Fleet is a 16-ship flight formation of C-130J Super Hercules, the largest formation of C-130J aircraft to date. Launch the Fleet also includes several heavy-equipment airdrops highlighting the C-130J's primary mission of transporting troops and equipment into hostile areas.
