NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (April 13, 2020) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Curtis Gilbert, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, demonstrates the use of ear guards made from the command’s additive manufacturing printer on Naval Station Rota, Spain, April 13, 2020. The ear guards will be utilized by medical personnel and patients at Naval Hospital Rota. NMCB 1 is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 5th, 6th, and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
