200413-N-WR252-1082 DEDEDO, Guam (April 13, 2020) Engineering Aide 2nd Class Brian Hemme, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, takes elevation readings to create a topographical view of the area where the Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) is being built onboard Naval Base Guam to ensure a level foundation. The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
