A line of flatbed trucks waits on the BEAR Base ramp on Holloman Air Force Base on April 9, 2020. Airmen from the 635th Materiel Maintenance Group -- the Air Force’s only Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources unit – loaded more than 30 trucks with 1.2 million pounds of equipment and cargo within 48 hours. This vital equipment is being shipped to Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas to will help ensure that the Air Force’s basic training pipeline will endure throughout the COVID-19 response.
