    Palmer, Alaska native, Staff Sgt. Brandon Kramer, a squad leader with Ghost Rider Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, inspects a large amount of white powder in front of a home during clearing operations in the East Rashid District in Southern Baghdad. The powder turned out to be flour. However, homemade explosives can be made from common household products and Soldiers are trained to look for certain products.
