Maj. Michael Gutierrez, a physician assistant, and Capt. Elizabeth Benninger, a nurse, provide ventilator training for U.S. Army Reserve medical professionals from the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support), 352nd Combat Support Hospital, Apr. 7. at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, Calif. Approximately 170 Soldiers of the 807th MCDS, 352nd CSH, are preparing to mobilize in an Urban Augmentation Medical Task Forces (UAMTF) as part of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response. The troops are using equipment at the Army Reserve Regional Training Site-Medical (RTS-MED) that offers realistic training platforms to ensure medical warriors are current in best practices for operating in the current COVID-19 environment.
