Technical Sgt. Marvin Mosley checks one of the gates securing the bundles before dropping them from a C-17 Glomebaster III, Oct 11. Sixty-two cargo bundles were dropped from two C-17s to a drop zone in Afghanistan. This was the first time a combat cargo drop of this magnitude has taken place from two C-17s in formation over one drop zone. Sgt. Mosley is a loadmaster with the 817th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, Manas, Kyrgyzstan.
