The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) partners with FEMA to adapt existing facilities chosen by state Governors to convert into COVID-19 ICU treatment hospitals and NONCOVID-19 alternate care centers. Site adaptations will be made to existing facilities that are already operational and to code. 114 assessments have begun in 50 states in 5 different territories.
