Construction continues of Hall B’s COVID19 Alternate Care Facility at McCormick Place April 4 in Chicago. The Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, in support of FEMA, the City of Chicago and State of Illinois started construction of the ACF March 30 to fight the pandemic. 500 COVID 19 patient rooms in Hall C was completed within five days and handed over to the City of Chicago April 4, and 2500 more rooms are currently being constructed.
