Members of the Lucas County Emergency Operations team and U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s Northwest Ohio Joint Engineer Assessment Team, conduct a walkthrough of the Toledo Seagate Convention Center during a facility assessment at the Toledo Seagate Convention Center, April 5, 2020. The JEAT team is working to assess buildings throughout Northwest Ohio’s Emergency Management Agency’s region, as potential Alternate Care Facilities as COVID-19 cases increase throughout the area. The region, identified as region one, is made up of more than 1.4 million residents in 19 counties, with more than 30 hospitals throughout Northwest Ohio.
