On 01 April 2020, Soldiers from the 1433 Engineer Company listen as MAJ Robert Mathews briefs on the mission specifics of building hospital beds to retrofit an alternate care facility in Detroit, MI. Construction of this alternate care facility began on 31 March 2020. This facility construction team includes members from the Detroit civilian population as well as the Michigan State Police, The Army Corps of Engineers and the Michigan National Guard.
