200324-N-WA745-1111 POHNPEI, Federated States of Micronesia (March 24, 2020) Steelworker 3rd Class Roslyn Ruiz, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Pohnpei, cuts vinyl composite edge tiles to place in the computer lab facility at Sokehs Pah Elementary School. U.S. Navy Seabees are renovating the school, which educates over 140 students from kindergarten to eighth grade from the island of Sokehs. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
