Soldiers and local law enforcement members walk up the steps to the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Seattle, Wa., March 29. The center will soon be transformed into a temporary hospital to be ran by the 47th Combat Support Hospital from Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The temporary hospital will help relieve some of the burden off of local hospitals by taking patients who are not infected with the COVID-19 virus, and allowing local medical professionals to provide care for those who are infected. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
