(YOKOSUKA, Japan) Master-at-Arms Petty Officer 2nd Class Mykah Calhoun, assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Security Department, uses a hand-held thermometer to check the forehead temperature of people driving onto the base, March 25. In addition to obtaining answers to a short questionnaire, taking forehead temperatures is one of the protocols used to screen for signs of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
