200324-N-DB724-1004 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 24, 2020) San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), right, and Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser Bunker Hill (CG 52) sail in formation as part of an Expeditionary Strike Force. Operating as an Expeditionary Strike Force, the Navy-Marine Corps team integrates the combat power of the Theodore Roosevelt Strike Group with the flexible capacity of the America Expeditionary Strike Group and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to provide the fleet commander with a capable, credible force that can be deployed anywhere in the world.
