Airman Jaylin Borsh-Thomas, 22nd Security Forces Squadron entry controller, scans a common access card March 18, 2020, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. As part of Team McConnell’s efforts to ensure the safety and health of its members, new guidelines have been implemented base-wide to promote health protection of its members. Touch-free ID scanning, which has been effective since March 14, 2020, requires all members accessing the installation to display their ID for entry controllers to verify.
