200318-N-WO152-0024 ARABIAN SEA (March 18, 2020) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Sarah Adame, from Columbia, South Carolina, assigned to the “Knighthawks” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 136, left, hugs her husband, Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Samuel Adame, from Lansing, Michigan, assigned to the “Zappers“ of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 130, in the in-port cabin of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during a cross-deck evolution with the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) in the Arabian Sea March 18, 2020. Fourteen family members spent a few hours together during an extended separation while on different deployments away from both ships' homeport in Norfolk, Virginia. The Dwight D. Eisenhower and Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Groups are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
