Lance Cpl. Evan Broussard, a Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 242 airframe mechanic, works on an F/A-18 Hornet for the surge day at the air field here Jan. 12. Marines on the air field could be seen running to and from aircraft, some fueling and others providing maintenance, while even more Marines worked on communications to ensure the safety of the pilots and the aircraft during flight.
