A U.S. Army Light Medium Tactical Vehicle is driven onto the M/V Liberty Passion at the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station, South Carolina, during Exercise DEFENDER-Europe 20, March 10, 2020. The purpose of the training is to increase readiness and interoperability by exercising the U.S. military’s ability to rapidly deploy a large combat-credible force of Soldiers and equipment from the United States to Europe; and alongside our allies and partners, quickly respond to a potential crisis.
