U.S. service members attached to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) conduct a disinterment ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, Mar. 9, 2020. The ceremony was part of DPAA’s efforts to disinter and identify the remains of unknown service members lost during World War II. DPAA’s mission is to provide the fullest possible accounting of our missing personnel to their families and the nation. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Jamarius Fortson)
