Spc. Calleigh C. Cella, 331st Transportation Company, attaches a cable from a Kalmar while joining two strings and forming a section of a trident pier during Nautical Horizon in support of Native Fury 2020, Feb. 21, 2020.
1188th Transportation Battalion hosted Soldiers of the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) and worked side by side during the exercise.
The sections built by the 7th EXB Soldiers will be loaded aboard the USNS Brittin (T-AKR 305), a Bob Hope-class roll-on/roll-off vehicle cargo ship. Once at their destination, they will be offloaded in the Arabian Gulf and become a trident pier which will be used to transport equipment and personnel ashore during Native Fury 2020.
